Idaho Trip, May-June, 2005

This trip's purpose was to spend a week at our timeshare at Pend Oreille Shores Resort in Hope, Idaho, then the next week at an exchange through Interval International at Davis Walley's Hot Springs Resort in Genoa, Nevada. On the way we visited with Elaine's daughter Laura Lary and her family in Lake Los Angeles, our Naturist friends Roger and Bonnie McKenzie in Moscow, Idaho and Elaine's neice Kittie Francis and her family in Coeur D'Alene Idaho. We also specifically wanted to see the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument

On our first day we drove from home to Elaine's daughter at Lake Los Angeles
We went shopping in Palmdale
We had lunch with Edwards retirees and drove to Baker Creek Campground at Big Pine
We drove up US 395 past Reno until we camped at Bordertown Casino on the CA border
We drove to Summer Lake Hot Spring in Oregon and camped there
We visited the Painted Hills unit of the John Day Fossil Beds and stayed in a historic inn
We visited the Sheep Head unit of the John Day Fossil Beds and stayed at an Indian Casino
We visited three museums in Walla Walla and drove to our friends in Moscow, Idaho
We celebrated John's 71st. birthday with our friends the McKenzie's
We drove to Sun Meadow Nudist park near Lake Coeur d'Alene and camped there
We drove to our timeshare and saw a parade of classic cars in Sandpoint, Idaho
We went again to Sandpoint to see the classic cars
